West Deptford Community,

My name is Zachary Kaminski, and I am a member of the West Deptford Township Board of Education.  My mother, Jill and Grandmother, Patricia have raised myself and brother, Kyle through the West Deptford School system. I have always been a known advocate in striving for the best in myself, community and School district. The West Deptford School District has provided the most fundamentally based education, and a safe school environment for myself and family as well. Since a young boy, I instantly fell in love with the township of West Deptford and have been active within the community. As a young seventh grader, I coached with my uncle in the WDLL organization, as well as the WD wrestling program. Since 2015, I am a volunteer football coach, currently serving as the Head Coach of the Freshman team in the WD Midget Football Program. In January of 2017 I applied for a vacancy on the board and came up short. Though it was not the result I was hoping for, It was a learning experience that has encouraged me since. I have also applied for three other vacancy's been presented this year. I have recently graduated this past June and am ready to strive for a busy, exciting and successful future. I am currently enrolled in Rowan University at Gloucester County, as I am furthering my education to obtain an Associates degree in liberal arts and a bachelors degree in English of education. Growing up in the atmosphere of West Deptford, there is no better part of the township I rather be involved in than education. I enjoy the dedication that the residents of this community put forth day in and day out. My goal is to work diligently and consistently to continue the traditions that West Deptford has bestowed!
